Deck, Patio and Home Soft Wash
Low pressure, the right cleaner, and no chewed-up wood — priced in writing before we start.

What soft washing is
Turn the pressure up high enough and it will take the green off a deck, but it leaves fuzzed, furrowed wood behind that drinks stain unevenly afterward. Soft washing does the work with a cleaning solution and low pressure instead, so the grain comes out of it intact.
What we wash
- Decks, porches and steps — before staining, or just to take a season of green back off
- Patios, walks and driveways — concrete and paver
- Siding — vinyl, wood and fiber cement, plus soffit, fascia and gutter faces
- Fences — privacy, shadowbox and picket
Washing is priced by the job. Send photos and rough dimensions and you get a real number in writing. The one figure we publish is the full job: deck and porch wash and re-stain, about $450 per 130 square feet, cleaned and re-coated. Every visit has a $130 minimum that covers the first hour of labor. Wash now, stain later
Wood has to dry before it will take stain — a couple of dry days after a wash, longer if the weather does not cooperate. So a wash and a re-stain are two visits, and we schedule them that way rather than put stain on damp wood and watch it peel off.
