Flooring
Plank floors, the subfloor under them, and the old floor hauled away — priced in writing before we start.
Geoff's Fix It installs LVP and laminate plank flooring in Springfield and the towns around it, and fixes what is underneath when the old floor comes up.
What we do
Plank flooring
Luxury vinyl plank and laminate, floated over underlayment. Doorways and transitions cut in, baseboard or quarter round back on, and the room put back together before we leave.
Subfloor repair
Soft spots, water damage, squeaks and dips get sorted out before anything new goes down. A floating floor only feels as solid as what is under it.
Tear-out and haul-away
Old carpet, pad, tack strip, staples and vinyl pulled up, bagged and taken away — its own line on the estimate so you can see what it costs.
Flooring is priced by the job, not off a list. Room measurements and a few photos get you a real number in writing. Every visit has a $130 minimum that covers the first hour of labor, and materials are billed separately. Published prices for everything else are on our Pricing page.
What we will tell you up front
If the subfloor is wet, or a squeak is coming from the framing rather than the floor, new plank over the top will not fix it — and we would rather say that before you buy material than after.
If the trim has to come off and go back on, or the doors need trimming to clear the new height, those are lines on the estimate, not surprises at the end.
Plank flooring is what we install: LVP and laminate. Tile and carpet are a different trade.
